The Donegal Women in Business Network invites women in business across Donegal to its final event of the season.

Entitled ‘The Moment Everything Changes’, the event takes place on Thursday, June 11 2026, from 6pm–8pm at Castle Grove Country House Hotel, Letterkenny.

The event features keynote speaker Karen Dwyer, founder and CEO of MS to Success. Karen was running a multi-million-pound company at just 23 years old before a life-altering Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis changed everything.

Rather than step back, she rebuilt, and now helps women around the world develop the confidence, resilience and clarity to lead more effectively through her award-winning transformation programmes.

Karen Dwyer, founder and CEO of MS to Success | Donegal County Council Her keynote, ‘When You Stop Waiting and Start Leading Your Life’, is aimed squarely at women who are performing, delivering, and holding it all together, but who know, privately, that something is no longer fully working. It’s not a session about positive thinking; it’s a direct, practical challenge to examine what you are carrying, what decisions you are avoiding, and what actually needs to change if you want a different result.

The evening opens with a fireside chat hosted by Maria Rushe featuring the No Limits Ladies: Dymphna Donaghy, Mandy Blaney, and Ciara Hassan, three women who first met at a Donegal Women in Business Network event in February and have since gone into business together. Their story is a straightforward and powerful illustration of what the network is for, and a reminder of what can happen when you simply show up.

Sally Murphy, President of the Donegal Women in Business Network, said: "This is the last event on our calendar before we take our summer break. We have produced a fantastic programme and we wanted to go out on something that gives the year the send-off it deserves.

“Karen's story is extraordinary, but what makes her a brilliant speaker is that she brings it back to you; to the decisions you are sitting on and the changes you

have been putting off. I would encourage every woman in business in Donegal to book their place. These evenings always sell out and this one will be no different."

Brenda Hegarty at the Official Opening of Local Enterprise Week in the Radisson Hotel, Letterkenny | Joe Dunne Brenda Hegarty of Local Enterprise Office, Donegal, which partners with the Network to deliver this event, said: "LEO Donegal is proud to partner with the Donegal Women in Business Network on events like this. Supporting women in business, not just with the practical tools of enterprise, but with the mindset and resilience to lead well, is central to what we do. This is exactly the kind of evening that leaves you thinking differently about your business and yourself."

Adding to this, Karen Dwyer said: "The women I work with are not struggling because they lack ability or ambition; they are struggling because they have been pushing through without ever stopping to deal with what is actually in the way. That is what this evening is about. Not another motivational talk. A real conversation about what needs to change and how to make that decision with clarity."

‘The Moment Everything Changes’ takes place on Thursday, June 11 2026, from 6pm to 8pm at Castle Grove Country House Hotel, Letterkenny. This event is expected to sell out, but a limited number of tickets are still available on the website. Tickets are free for members and €25 for non- members.

The Donegal Women in Business Network connects and supports women in business across Donegal through a programme of events, networking opportunities and peer support throughout the year, delivered in partnership with Local Enterprise Office Donegal.
