Motorists warned to expect delays for resurfacing works in West Donegal - Donegal Daily

Drivers in West Donegal have been asked to allow for more time to factor in delays as road resurfacing across the area begins.
Motorists have been warned to expect some delays as resurfacing works begin in different parts of West Donegal.
Works at Lougherrig Junction towards Fintown have already started, and Donegal County Council is expected to carry out resurfacing on a number of routes across West Donegal.
The resurfacing works that will be carried out include the busy R259 Dungloe to Burtonport route and the R252 road between Dungloe and Doochary.
Donegal County Council have advised motorists to allow an extra few minutes for their journey using those routes as traffic management measures will be in place.
The road resurfacing works are also weather dependent, so the works that are planned may be staggered over the next weeks.
Resurfacing will also be carried out at Kingcarrow towards Fintown, Bellnamore (Cumric Bridge), Commeen and Buncroobog.
