Busy Longford street set to close for 26 days - here’s what motorists need to know

A busy street in Granard is scheduled for closure for 26 days as Uisce Éireann carry out works on the water main.
Church Street, between the N55 and L-5134 at Granardkille, will be closed to the public from Monday May 25 to Friday June 19 from 7am - 6pm each day.
There will be a traffic management system in place as well as signed diversions for local traffic.
According to the council, local access for entrapped properties and business’ is to be maintained. Bus traffic for Ardscoil Phadraig will be accommodated through the closed road by suspending the works and marshalling them through.
