Man says he is pleading guilty to Offaly public order offences

Michael Cawley (22), 50 Puttaghaun Close, Tullamore, appeared before Judge Andrew Cody on charges which allege he committed the public order offences on July 31 last at Puttaghaun Close.

After indicating to Judge Cody that he would be pleading guilty he said that Aisling Maloney was his solicitor and Ms Maloney asked that the matter be put back for mitigation.

Two hundred super cars for Tullamore as Cannonball comes back this evening The judge remanded Mr Cawley on continuing bail to September 23 next and said the matter will be finalised then.

Mr Cawley faces a charge of engaging in threatening, abusive and intimidating behaviour and another of public drunkenness to an extent that he might endanger himself or others in his vicinity.
