Temporary road closure of Longford route extended

The closure of a section of the L-51611 Ringowny Road, between Edgeworthstown and Granard, has been extended until tomorrow, Friday April 8. The closure will be in place from 8am to 4pm each day

A temporary road closure of the L-51611 Ringowney Road, situated between Edgeowrthstown and Granard, has been extended until tomorrow, Friday April 8.
The closure, which is to facilitate resurfacing works, will affect the section of the L-51611 specifically between its junctions with the R-395 and the L-51612 and will operate between 8am-4pm each day.
Local diversions will continue to remain in place for the the closure, while a traffic management system, namely temporary traffic lights, will also continue to operate until the works are completed.
Road users are advised to expect delays and allow extra travel time where possible.
