A MAN who appeared at Tullamore District Court on a charge involving harming a teenage girl by dangerous driving was remanded on continuing bail to September 2 next.

Sergeant Richard Thornton applied for a remand and said a book of evidence would be required in the case of Gavin Dunne (44), Church Street, Tullamore .

Mr Dunne is accused of driving a 2015 Offaly registered vehicle dangerously at Erry, Clara on February 4 last.

He is further accused of dangerous driving causing serious bodily harm to the female at Erry.

Judge Andrew Cody explained to Mr Dunne that the prosecution would be going to the Circuit Court and remanded him on continuing bail to September 2 for a book of evidence.
