Potential sites identifed

Tipperary Co Council has identified a number of potential locations in the Nenagh district for caravan and campervan parking sites.

The council recently appointed consultants to deliver a feasibility study on the potential to develop caravan and campervan sites across the county. Cllr Joe Hannigan inquired about the progress made on this at last month’s meeting of the council’s Nenagh Municipal District.

District Administrator Rosemary Joyce said there would be discussion around potential locations in the Nenagh district. While there may be challenges in agreeing on such sites, there is a need for accommodation of this type in the district, she said.
