A SUMMONS alleging careless driving near the town of Clara in 2025 has come before Tullamore District Court .

Pedro Ivo De Araujo Filho, Ballydangan, Athlone, Roscommon is accused of careless driving on September 30, 2025 at Kilmanaghan, Clara.

The summons was brought by Garda Shane Regan and when Mr Filho appeared before Judge Andrew Cody he said Patrick Martin was his solicitor.

Online lotto player from Offaly wins massive €80,000 in 'Hand to Hand Clash' Judge Cody instructed details of the case against the man to be given to Mr Martin and adjourned the prosecution to October 7 next when either a guilty plea will be entered or a hearing will be scheduled.

The judge said the hearing can take place on November 2 if it is required.
