FUAIR IOMAITHEOIRÍ SA chomórtas rapcheol ag Oireachtas na Samhna i mBéal Feirste geit nuair a chuaigh siad ar an ardán ag an Ionad Cois Cuain sa chathair inné nó cérbh iad na moltóirí ach Moglaí Bap agus DJ Próvaí ón ngrúpa Feirsteach Kneecap.

B’é seo an chéad uair riamh go raibh comórtas rap cheol i measc comórtais amhránaíocht ar an sean nós, agallaimh bheirte agus lúibíní ag an Oireachtas agus bhí seachtar istigh ar an gcomórtas.

Níos déanaí an oíche chéanna bhí Moglaí Bap agus DJ Próvaí ar an ardán iad féin agus an bheirt ag seinm in éineacht le Le Boom, rapálaithe óg a bhíonn ag ceol as Gaeilge cosúil le Kneecap. Bhí ionad an ghig, Tábhairne an Choirceog/Beehive Bar, in iarthar Bhéal Feirste lán go doras don ócáid.

Stíofán Ó Cualáin ó Leitir Mealláin a thug leis ceann de mór dhuaiseanna an lae, Corn na bhFear. Beidh Corn na mBan ann anocht (oíche hAoine) agus Corn Uí Riada ann ar an Satharn.
