Let’s Talk was broadcast live from Knockcroghery in County Roscommon on Tuesday, July 29th, where guests discussed the village's efforts to fight back against rural decline.
De-population, lack of services and poor infrastructure are serious issues in rural areas of the Shannonside region.
Knockcroghery Train Station has been closed for decades while the local Garda station was closed in 2013.
Dan Dooner spoke to guests from across the community about efforts to save the post office and how they're bridging the gap in services in Knockcroghery village:
