Kildare County Council (KCC) has been queried over the installation of traffic calming signage on one County Kildare road.

The question came from Fine Gael Cllr Kevin Duffy at the latest Kildare-Newbridge Municipal District meeting on Wednesday, July 15 last.

At around the halfway point of the meeting, Cllr Duffy, who appeared at the meeting by virtual means, submitted the following question: “Can KCC provide an update on the anticipated timeframe for the installation of the traffic calming signage on Cowpasture Road in Monasterevin, and [can KCC] confirm whether the works remain on schedule for completion?”

In response, KCC said via the report it presented at the meeting: “The Kildare Newbridge Municipal District Office expects to install this traffic calming signage towards the end of 2026.”
