A cul-de-sac access road serving the Ballyminion Primary Care Centre could soon be declared a public road.

A proposal has been put forward by Longford County Council to declare the road as public meaning responsibility for its maintenance and management would fall under the public road network.

A map of the road, which is located in the townlands of Ballyminion and Farranyooga, is available for public inspection online.

Members of the public are invited to make submissions or observations on the proposal. Submissions can be made in writing or by email with the deadline for such being Friday, June 1 at 4pm.
