Clare School Areas To Face ’Periodic Speed Limits" Under New Plans - News % Clare FM

Periodic speed limits could be introduced in a number of school zones in Clare under new council plans.

The changes would see limits reduced from 50km/h to 30km/h during designated drop off and collection times.

The plans are expected to go to public consultation in the coming weeks.

Chair of Clare’s Strategic Policy Committee Whitegate Fine Gael Councillor Pat Burke says the measures must be properly enforced.
