Kildare County Council (KCC) has asserted that brand-new signs are on the way for one County Kildare town.

The announcement was heard at the latest Clane - Maynooth Municipal District meeting, which took place on Friday, September 4 last.

The matter was initially raised by Social Democrats councillor Paula Mulroe, when she submitted the following question to KCC: “Can KCC provide an update on when the signage review and replacement of town signs in Prosperous will take place?”

“It is envisaged these signs will be installed in the coming weeks,” KCC added.
