Stick and slash hook charges brought against four Offaly people

TWO men and two women have been accused of committing offences in Birr involving weapons.
Gerald Maughan (24), The Heritage, Birr, Patrick O'Brien (44), Kearney Drive, Tullamore and Michelle O'Brien (41), also of Kearney Drive, Tullamore, are accused of each having a slash hook at The Heritage, Main Street, Birr on August 23 last.
Lorraine Harty (21), High Street, Birr, is accused of having a long stick to intimidate another person at The Heritage, Main Street in Birr on the same date.
All of the accused were remanded on continuing bail to appear at Tullamore District Court on March 18.
