Man to appear in Limerick court in connection with assault of teenager

A man has been charged in connection with the stabbing of a male juvenile at Limerick city centre.

A MAN who was arrested in connection with the assault of a teenager in Limerick city is due to appear before Limerick District Court.

The man - who is in his 30s - is expected to appear before Limerick District Court, Mulgrave Street, Limerick, this Thursday, July 2, 2026.

The assault took place on Parnell Street, Limerick on Friday evening, June 12, 2026.

Gardaí previously said in a statement that the boy’s injuries are believed to be non life-threatening.

Gardaí have commented that investigations into the assault are ongoing.
