Safety Concerns Prompt Councillors To Call For Removal Of Addresses From Public Records - News % Clare FM

Clare’s county councillors are seeking the removal of their specific home addresses from future ballot papers amid safety concerns.

It follows a recent major incident in which 80 female politicians nationwide were allegedly subject to a campaign of verbal sexual harassment and intimidation.

Although an individual has been arrested in relation to the case, more public representatives have since come forward with similar issues.

Ardnacrusha Fianna Fáil Councillor Rachel Hartigan says everyone should feel safe in their home.
