Listen Back: Cross border competition in Clones. A a brand new community competition brought teams from Monaghan and Fermanagh together last

The cross-border, family sports festival brought together clubs from Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, at the Peace Link in Clones.

Furthermore, the event supported by PeacePlus, a European funded programme that brings together communities from across the border.

Indeed, four teams; Monaghan Town F.C; Enniskillen Rangers F.C; Enniskillen Town United F.C; and Clones Town F.C; took part in the one day event.

Moreover, in the final on Saturday afternoon, Clones Town overcame Enniskillen Rangers 3-0.

The competition co-ordinated by Jason Maguire, the Health and Wellbeing Co-Ordinator at the Peacelink.
