A LIFFORD woman has been charged after being caught in possession of drugs.
Sabrina McMonagle (34), Beechwood Park, Lifford was before Letterkenny District Court on Monday past.
She is charged with being in possession of an illegal drug, cocaine, for the purpose of selling or otherwise supplying it to others, a charge contrary to section 15 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, 1977.
Garda Sergeant Oliver Devaney told the court that the drugs were valued at €875.
Disclosure is to be sent to defending solicitor Mr Rory O’Brien by July 6.
Judge Emile Daly accepted jurisdiction and set a date of July 20 for a plea or a hearing in the case.
Mr O’Brien requested that Legal aid is provided for his client.
