Funding of €3,000 reallocated in Falcarragh

Funding of €3,000 has been reallocated from Ionad Naomh Fionnán to Coiste Forbartha An Fhal Carraigh.
The reallocation was proposed by 100% Redress Councillor Denis McGee and seconded by Independent Councillor Micheal McClafferty at the July meeting of the Glenties Municipal District.
The centre, originally receiving the funding, serves as a central gathering place for the community , while the community development committee is responsible for managing local initiatives and facilities.
The community development funding was allocated under the Development Fund Initiative (DFI) 2026, which supports economic, social, cultural and heritage initiatives.
