A man has been charged with cultivating illegal drugs in a Letterkenny apartment.
Letterkenny District Court heard that drugs valued at €2,400 were found in a raid on the home of Steven Cravagan.
The 44-year-old, with an address at Court Manor House, Justice Walsh Road, Letterkenny, has been charged in relation to the find.
Cravagan is charged that he did, without lawful licence, cultivate plants, opium poppy, cannabis and erythroxylon, a charge contrary to section 17 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, 1977.
Judge Emile Daly enquired as to the value of the drugs and accepted jurisdiction.
Garda Sergeant Jim Collins said disclosure could be made by the end of October.
Judge Daly remanded Cravagan on continuing bail to appear before the court on November 23.
