Diversions on Carrickart road for two-day resurfacing works

Diversions will be in place on the Carrickart road to facilitate two days of resurfacing works.

The closure is effective on Wednesday, July 8 and Thursday, July 9, between 8am and 5pm daily.

The works on the R245 near Creeslough are a continuation of the 2025 works and will take place in the townland of Killoughcarron. The diversion route will be via the N56 to Kilmacrennan, the R246 to Milford and the R245 to Carrickart and vice versa.

All diversion routes will be adequately signed, and a Vehicle Management System will be on site giving motorists advance notice of the works. Donegal County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.
