The crimes were detailed by Garda Sarah O’Sullivan during a guest appearance on KFM on Wednesday, June 10 last.

Gda O’Sullivan explained that the incidents both occurred in during the early hours of Friday, June 5 last.
According to her, the incidents both took place in The Orchard housing estate, which is located on the Sallins Road, and involved multiple male perpetrators.
She also said that the males fled in a blue Volkswagen Golf car with a partial '192' registration plate.
However, Gda O’Sullivan added that it is believed that their vehicle could now be operating on a cloned plate.
Furthermore, she noted that the perpetrators fled in the direction of Clane.

Gda O’Sullivan concluded by urging anyone with information and / or dashcam footage in relation to one or both incidents to contact Naas Garda Station on 045 884 300.
When asked by the Leinster Leader about these crimes , a garda spokesperson had this to say about the first incident: “Gardaí are investigating an attempted theft of a Jeep in Naas, County Kildare that occurred between the hours 3.20am and 3.45am on June 5 last.”
The spokesperson added that the investigation into this matter is ongoing.
Regarding the second incident, the same spokesperson replied: “Gardaí are also investigating the theft from a Jeep in Naas, County Kildare that occurred between the hours 3.20am and 3.45am on June 5 last.”
Once again, they added that the investigation into this crime is ongoing.
