Longford Gardaí on the lookout for outstanding young people in Longford as youth award nominations open

The Roscommon/Longford Garda division, in association with Longford and Roscommon County Councils, has announced the launch of the 8th Annual Garda Youth Awards .

The awards recognise and celebrate outstanding young people aged between the ages of 13 and 21 who have made a positive contribution to their communities across the two counties.

The nomination process is now open, with An Garda Síochána inviting members of the public to put forward individuals or groups who have demonstrated a commitment to making a difference over the past year.

Nomination forms will be distributed to schools, youth groups and voluntary organisations across Longford and Roscommon in the coming weeks.

Forms can also be requested via email at [email protected] , or downloaded from the Garda website and the Roscommon and Longford local authority websites.

Completed nomination forms can be submitted by email to [email protected] or posted to the Community Policing Unit, Longford Garda Station, County Longford.
