Donegal County Council has confirmed details of new changes for applicants to the Enhanced Defective Concrete Block Scheme.

It was recently confirmed that the Council will no longer be requesting copies of Applicant's CBP PI Insurance or Ancillary Certificates at the Final Claim Stage.

A spokesperson for the council said this 'will reduce the administrative burden on applicants.'

Additionally, Donegal County Council said that applicants 'should continue to satisfy themselves that their CBP (Competent Building Professional) holds the appropriate PI Insurance.

They added that applicants should also 'ensure that they receive copies of any applicable Ancillary Certificates associated with structural elements etc for their records.'
