Calls made for Government and Local authorities to support cross-county border organisations | RadioKerry.ie

Policymakers in Ireland must develop a system of supporting cross-county border communities and sporting organisations.

That's according to Gneeveguilla Athletic Club's Sheila O'Donoghue.

Ms O'Donoghue states that due to the clubs cross-county catchment area , they constantly struggle to secure funding.

She believes that due to the club's even split of members from Kerry and Cork, authorities should be considering where the athletes are from.
