A YOUNG MAN who walked around a business park with a knife has been brought before the Limerick courts.

Tytus Malik, 19, with a home address at Ashgrove, Glencairin, Dooradoyle, was with another man at Raheen Business Park on August 25, 2025.

Limerick District Court heard that a garda came across “two males attempting to avoid detection by gardaí” at 11pm.

It was put forward in garda evidence that the man smelled of drugs.

Prosecuting Sergeant Denis Waters detailed that the man has no previous convictions.

Solicitor Sarah Ryan, representing the man, said: “His father lives in Poland. In Poland it’s not illegal.”

Judge Patricia Harney directed for a Probation Report to be prepared on Mr Malik.

The man will reappear in court to hear the findings of the report in June.
