A MAN has admitted to burglaries at two garden sheds and causing damage to the roof of another in Birr.

Ceilim Ryan (24), The Heritage, Main Street, Birr, entered guilty pleas when he was arraigned at Tullamore Circuit Court.

All three offences were committed on November 3, 2023 and were to neighbouring properties in Camcor Park, Birr.

A large number of items were stolen from two sheds such as a lawmower, strimmer, bike, sprayer, umbrella, step ladder, petrol can, spaces and other tools.

Defence counsel Kenneth Kerins, BL (instructed by Aisling Maloney) told Judge Ronan Munro today (Tuesday, April 21) that the property had been returned.

Mr Kerins said Mr Ryan was hoping to be sentenced as soon as possible.
