Road closure extended in North Longford as works continue

The temporary closure of a North Longford local road - the L-5096 at Culray - has been extended.

The road will now remain closed from Tuesday, June 2 to Friday June 5, between 8am and 5pm each day.

The closure - which is required to facilitate roadworks being carried out under the council's ongoing roads programme - will see local diversions in place during the hours of the closure.

Road users are advised to allow extra time for their journeys as a traffic management system, including temporary traffic lights, will remain in operation for the duration of the works.
