By Reporter · Westmeath Examiner · 24 February 2026

A woman accused of using threatening and abusive behaviour at Mullingar Greyhound Stadium during Christmas week last year could be in line for “further serious charges,” a court has been told.

Rachel Myers (18), 34 Grange Heights, Mullingar, Westmeath, had originally been charged with a Section 6 public order offence over an alleged event on December 20, 2025.

Sgt Orla Keenan said the state requested further time as “further serious charges” were being contemplated.

Ms Myers was granted legal aid after it was revealed she was currently in receipt of Jobseekers Allowance.
