Bhí an Teachta Dála neamhspleách ó Ghaillimh Thiar ag freastal ar an oscailt oifigiúil ina ról mar chathaoirleach ar Chomhchoiste na Gaeilge, na Gaeltachta agus Pobal Labhartha na Gaeilge ag an Oireachtas eile sin, is iad sin Tithe an Oireachtais i mBaile Átha Cliath.
