Road Safety Message #11 | OceanFM

The dangers posed by speeding vehicles travelling through Ballinacarrow have been highlighted by Jane Harding, Acting National School Principal in the village....

Ballinacarrow is situated on the N17, a busy national route, and concerns have been raised about the speed of traffic passing through the village and the potential risks this creates for local residents, children and other road users.

In the following audio, Ms Harding speaks about the concerns surrounding speeding vehicles and the importance of drivers taking extra care when travelling through the village.

With children attending the local school and pedestrians and residents using the roads and footpaths in the area, the message is a simple one: slow down, take care and be aware of those around you.
