Six years ago, in response, the people of Asdee developed a five-year community plan to revive the area and went on to win Ireland's first International Association of Facilitators (IAF) Facilitation Impact Award.

Treasurer of Asdee Community Development , Lorraine McElligott believes that many other communities in Kerry can follow in their footsteps but are unaware of help available.
