North Longford local road closures: two days of roadworks set to take place

North Longford motorists are being advised of a two day double road closure .

A section of road, the L-1054, specifically between Gelsha Cross and Bunlahy Cross, will be closed to traffic today, Tuesday, May 26, and tomorrow, Wednesday, May 27 while scheduled road works are taking place.

The closure will take place between the hours of 8am and 4pm each day.

A section of the L-1047-0 at Aughagreagh will also be closed to traffic for the same duration on both days. The affected stretch runs between its junctions with the L-1035 at Lislea and the L-1051 at Gelshagh.

Motorists are advised to allow for short delays while the works are carried out.
