A man recently appeared before Nenagh District Court after he was stopped by members of an Garda Síochána and made full admission to driving without insurance.
Dawid Purowski (45) of Cluain Caoin, Nenagh, was stopped by the gardaí on August 10, 2024 along Borrisokane Road in Nenagh. Mr Purowski appeared before Nenagh District Court with six previous convictions, all of which were under the Road Traffic Act.
Solicitor Ian MacNamara said that Mr Purowski “didn’t have the funds at the time” to insure his vehicle and subsequently was unable to get the funds to get his vehicle back from the gardaí after it was seized.
Judge Marie Keane fined Mr Purowski €250 with four months to pay and handed him a mandatory disqualification from driving for a period of two years.
