Local Sinn Féin Councillor Brian Carr has condemned the act, describing it as a “serious case of illegal dumping.”

“Someone has dumped a large amount of excess concrete on the roadside,” the Glenties Municipal District Councillor shared. “We had a litter problem in this area a few months ago, but this is on another level. If anyone has seen the person, vehicle or company responsible, please contact me privately, and I will pass on this information to the relevant people. I would like to identify those responsible so they can come and remove it.”
