Fine Gael Councillor for Rathdowney, John King feels it will add a new lease of life to the town centre.

Derelict properties in the main square of a Laois town can be given a new lease of life.

That’s the message for Fine Gael Councillor for Rathdowney, John King.

He says the council is looking to buy more townhouses in the future to attract more people to live in the town centre.
