Alert: Longford motorists advised of diversions due to 4 day road closure

Motorists using the L-5074 road in Carrowlinan, Ballinalee, between its junctions with L-1034 and L-5086, have been advised of delays that may arise from the closure of the road from today Monday March 16 until Friday 20 (excluding St. Patrick’s Day ) to facilitate maintenance works.

The closure, which will take place each day from 8am until 4pm, will see local diversions in place during the hours of closure.

A traffic management system, namely traffic lights, will be in place for the duration of the works but delays can be expected.
