Thug Mac Brádaigh le fios go gcaithfeadh ‘an Rialtas a chinntiú go bhforbrófar réimse i bhfad níos leithne cúrsaí tríú leibhéal trí Gaeilge sna blianta amach romhainn’.

“Tá gá le spriocanna soiléire, intomhaiste agus samhail náisiúnta cosúil leis an gColeg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol sa Bhreatain Bheag, a oibríonn go díreach le hollscoileanna chun tacú le cúrsaí sa teanga agus iad a leathnú.”

Bhunaigh Rialtas na Breataine Bige an Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol i 2011 chun obair le na h-ollscoileanna chun cúrsaí teanga Breatnaise agus acmhainní eile a fhorbairt do mhicléinn.

“Táimid ag lorg gealltanais chun líon na gcúrsaí tríú leibhéal trí Ghaeilge a mhéadú ó níos lú ná 1% go 5% laistigh de 20 bliain.”

Bhí an t-éileamh ar son breis chúrsaí as Gaeilge sa réimse tríú libhéal i measc na tosaíochtaí a raibh luaite nuair a thug breis is 25,000 príomh shráideanna Bhaile Átha Cliath orthu féin chun léirsiú ar son cearta teanga agus Gaeltachta.
