TÁ GÉARÚ AS an nua ar an bhfeachtas chun go mbeadh rochtain níos fearr ar TG4 ó thuaidh den teorainn, beagnach 30 bliain tar éis gur thug Rialtas na Breataine i gComhaontú Aoine an Chéasta coimitmint go bhfiosródh siad na féidireachtaí go mbeadh teacht forleathan ar an gcainéal i dTuaisceart Éireann.

I gComhaontú Aoine an Chéasta, a shínigh na pairtithe ó thuaidh maraon le Rialtais na Breataine agus na hÉireann, gheall Príomh Aire na Breataine ag an am, Tony Blair, go ndéanfadh na h-údaráis sa Ríocht Aontú fiosrú ar an bhféidireacht go mbeadh rochtain fhorleathan ar an gcainéal Ghaeilge.
