Well-known Kildare hotel to host launch of youth support plan

A well-known hotel will host the official launch of a plan aimed at supporting youths living in one County Kildare town.

The free event will see the launch of the Newbridge Communities That Care (CTC) Protective Factors, an initiative dedicated to supporting teenagers in the town.

It is also being organised with the aid of Safer Newbridge, Foróige, Children and Young People’s Services Committees (CYPSC) and the Department of Justice, Home Affairs and Migration.

He explained that more than 1,500 students across Newbridge’s four secondary schools took part in the recent youth survey, and that the ‘key findings and protective factors identified through that work’ will be shared at the event.

Lastly, he emphasised that while attendance at this event is free, spaces are limited, so anyone planning to attend it must register in advance via Eventbrite .

The launch of the initiative will take place inside the Keadeen Hotel in Newbridge on Thursday, September 10, 2026.
