Raised pedestrian crossings for Ballina | Nenagh Guardian

By Anna Powell · The Nenagh Guardian · 2 March 2026

Funding allocated.

Following representations and notices of motion, €185,000 has been allocated for four raised pedestrian crossings on Main St, and on Grange Road, Ballina. These traffic calming measures/ramps will certainly reduce speed and make both areas safer. Work will commence shortly on the installation of these ramps/raised pedestrian crossings.
