Pride celebrations have been taking place across the Shannonside region. Over a hundred turned up to the Pride parade in Longford Town recently, as the county marked its third annual festivities this year.
This week, a range of activities and events will be taking place in Roscommon Town, with a parade to conclude the celebrations on Saturday at 2:30pm. But what is it like to be a member of the LGBTQ+ community every other day of the year, and is it more difficult to be queer in rural Ireland? Daniela Rana reports:
