In the latest Episode of ‘TippFM Investigates – Building Tipperary’ series …. Domhnall Doyle is looking at the Thurles Inner Relief Road and the frustration expressed locally at the latest slippage in the timelines.

Construction had been expected to start next year which would have meant that it could be finished before the end of 2029 but the latest news seems to set the completion date back to 2030 at the earliest.

In the meantime Thurles is crying out for a second bridge over the River Suir to ease the congestion and road safety issues in Liberty Square.
