If approved, the restaurant would add another food option to the shopping centre
A NEW Indian restaurant could be making its way to Monread Shopping Centre in Naas, if plans are approved by Kildare County Council.
An application has been submitted by Leksar Foods Limited Anjappar Indian Restaurant for the proposed change of use of Unit 18B, Monread Shopping Centre, Monread Road, Naas, from its existing retail use to a restaurant.
The proposal also includes new signage and ancillary services associated with the restaurant.
If approved, the restaurant would add another food option to the shopping centre, joining existing outlets including Camille, Costa, Subway and Bowes Ryan Café.
However, Kildare County Council has deemed the planning application incomplete, meaning further information or documentation would be required before the application can proceed through the planning process.
The applicant will be refunded by Kildare County Council and will have to apply again with sufficient information on the development.
