Rebecca Pollard PLANS for a new nine-unit residential development in Athy have recently been granted by Kildare County Council.
The application, lodged by Lorniaeve Ltd., sought permission for the demolition of an existing warehouse premises at St Michael’s Terrace, to the rear of 1 Leinster Street in Athy.
Under the approved plans, a two-storey terraced building containing nine residential units will be constructed. The development will comprise three one-bedroom apartments, three two-bedroom apartments and three three-bedroom apartments.
The three-bedroom units will also include first-floor roof terraces as part of the design.
The development will also provide a new public footpath, revised car parking layout, bike storage facilities and individual bin storage areas.
