Timeline confirmed for erecting bollards at Letterkenny estate

Bollards will be erected at Crievesmith Park before the end of August, it has been confirmed.

The motion was brought forward by Fine Gael Councillor Jimmy Kavanagh and seconded by Fianna Fáil Councillor Donal Coyle at the July meeting of the Letterkenny/Milford Municipal District.

The Fine Gael Councillor raised the issue as evading the speed ramp had been brought up by pedestrians and residents in the area.

Senior Executive Engineer, David McIlwaine, responded that these works are included in the Roads Teams Works programme and will be carried out before the end of August.
